To Place a Water Main:

1. In the Command Manager, select Water Main from the Water Lines group.
2. Click on the Place Feature Icon or double-click on the selected feature to start the placement command.
3. Click on the Line Segment Mode Icon in the Placement Dialog.
4. Change the default property values as necessary in the Placement Form.
5. Click on a start location to place the Water Main. This can also be a structure or another network feature. If the data point is placed within the connectivity tolerance of a network feature (line, structure, or valve) a network connectivity relationship is automatically established with that feature.
6. Place more data points to add vertices to the new feature instance.
7. Right-Click (Reset) to stop the placement at the last vertex location.
8. Click at a location to place Annotation Text.
